Hey guys,
I'm looking for an alternative to the ALOHA POS I've had for the last 10 years. Is there a resource anyone can suggest for comparing new systems? I liked ALOHA and used it with iPads, but the costs are becoming ridiculous especially in light of the present options.
Thanks
I have a Radiant P1220 for Aloha that just this morning fell into a pre-boot cycle.
I get the spalsh Radiant screen
It then goes to the Intel Boot Agent screen before flashing PXE-E61 Error and then going back through the cycle.
I have open it up and reseated the memory and check any cable...
I'm thinking about using an android tablet with our Aloha system. I received a quote from Aloha that was quite ridiculous ($3200 for 2 licenses sans tablets), so I was thinking of going another way. I can remote into a terminal from a tablet and allow the servers to order from here. Has anyone...
I'm looking for a replacement solution for Aloha eCard. Primarily, I'm trying to get away from the $60/mo. that I'm being charged for one site with minimal sales of eCards. Any direction is greatly appreciated.
I remember being approached by a sales person some time ago about a POS that can be installed over Aloha using the same hardware. Does anyone have any more info on this?
When looking at Preview Reports of any sort in Aloha Manager, the image is much smaller than it should be. Any help would be much appreciated as this is very hard to see. I'm using Aloha 6.1.15.
Thanks.

I'm running Aloha 6.1.15. Over the weekend (midnight on Saturday, of course) our terminals went down. They were immediately put into redundancy. Afterward, I attempted to pull them out by using the Alt-X and then interpret the codes. This has worked for me numerous times without fail, but for...
I am unable to comp some menu items in Aloha and instead must void. I know there's something I need to modify to make this recognizable as a comp-able item, but am unsure of what. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
I'm running Aloha ver. 6.1.15 and have the following challenge: An organization that our restaurant is close with wants to offer a discount to their employees that they will cover by applying to their house account. Is there a way to program this into the system?
I am trying to run (2) epson tm-U220 printers in such a way that they print simultaneously. The interface is ethernet. Any suggestions as to how would I best go about this?
I'm trying to remove the image from some items in Aloha. I have found and deleted the item####.bmp files from the hard drive but still the image remains. How do I remove the image from the server menus and present only the text?
I'm running ALOHA Tableservice 6.1.15
Thanks!
I'm looking for a way to have a price change for the entire system in our restaurant. More exactly, I'm looking for a way to drop all Beverage items 25% and all food items 10%. I'm sure there's a way. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running Aloha Tableservice 6.1.15.
I'm looking for a way to get detailed accounts for server sales so that I can more easily run staff incentives and such. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running Aloha Manager 6.1.15.
Thanks
I have started a new menu for a new shift (brunch) on the Aloha POS. The problems are slowly being worked out, but the biggest problem is that some`checks are not shared by the bartenders as they normally would be and that when drinks are rung in by the bartender, they print out on the service...
At times I've not closed out checks to their respective categories before the nightly grind occurs. This ends up with comped checks that are still open being closed to cash. I have just recently changed the time of the automatic grind, but I need to re-open to re-grind some days. Is there a way...
In Aloha, I'm trying to have a line put on the chit that separates the appetizers from the entrees. I've been all through the BOH to no avail. How is this done? I know it can be, I've seen it in the past.
Thanks.
