    How do I set Numlock to be permanently on?

    Numlock is on when I start the PC, but switches itself off at random. This seems to happen on most PCs Is there any way of having it permantly set to on. Using Windows XP Pro and the regedit\control panel\keyboard\startup value is set to 2 Any ideas would be appreciated Thanks
