Is anybody there to tell me how to identify client's os, ie differentiate between 98/xp/win2k/win3k as in my application the has to choose this and i want it to automated at pageload.- sharansh123

how to know the client OS?
How can I detect the client operating system using javascript? I am using a component which works differently on xp and win2k machines. Right now the client has to select one of them. But Iwant to automate it. Any help woul be appreciated. Thanks in advance.- sharansh123
