I'm so !@#$ frustrated with photoshop CS3 I can't see straight. ALL I'm trying to do is create a line using the pen tool and "stroke" it. I create a line using the pen tool in "shape layers," but when I finish, the "edit > stroke" command in the menu is grayed-out. What gives?

I have a B&W project. All of my photos are grayscale. If I print the project from InDesign everything is fine, however if I export it as a PDF file and print from it, the B&W images are slightly colored. I suspect it's a PDF engine problem. No, I am not using rich black.

Does anyone know how I can have text in a footnote wrap around an object? The footnote text is covered by the object, however if I move the object in the copy above the footnote the text wraps fine.
