In case some of my fellow Michigan Teks hadn't heard about this.

First, thanks to Fletch for the update he posted on the BCM forum on the go ahead slated this year.
I have done the research and recieved some proposals for E911 for our system, but wanted to get any thoughts that Michigan techs might have on the various providers and solutions available.
Our...
I am wondering if this is addressed anywhere, or if one of you ladies and gents have figured this out already.
I am looking at adding fax licenses for our desktop messaging users, but need to make sure if there is a way to make it compliant. This would be for a 1005r 5.0.
Any thoughts or...
I just implemented the Misdial Prevention option at my company, on a cs1km r 6.0, and my Security Director wants to know if there is any kind of document out there that specifically says that this is an acceptable practice.
Anybody have to find such a thing before? I don't remember seeing it...
A good day to all, ladies and gents.
We just upgraded our enterprise to 6.0, and I have started implementing some of the enhancements that this provided us, such as ERLs and misdial prevention. Just these two steps are great features, and are much appreciated. Thank you, FLETCH!!!
I am...
We had to rebuild our Symposium today, and I would like to have this up as soon as possible, but for the life of me I can't remember how I would go about getting the Master Script to validate. And I know it's simple, but I am missing it.
I know it's a symposium Q in CS land, but thought...
I am hoping there is a cable plant guru out there who is feeling helpful. I am a phone/fiber tech by expertise with enough coax experience to do installs, but engineering/design is out of my forte.
I am a tech at a larger resort; multiple buildings across the site connected to the main...
Question of the day for the gurus:
I am trying to set up a remote office on my CS1KE, but I am having trouble getting the Configuration Manager connecting to either the RLC or the 9150. Every time I go to connect via serial in the Manager, it fails. HOWEVER, I am able to get in via hyperterm...
I had a question from my Call Center Manager as to whether it would be possible to adjust the setting on the time allowed to enter an activity code.
Right now, agents can only enter a code while in the call. Is it possible to adjust this to, say, 10 seconds after the call as well? I have a...
I am hoping one of you may know the answer to this question:
How would my system engineer and I go about possibly purging some old data out of SECC's database?
While we were looking at the server, we noticed that the partitions were really fragmented, but they don't have the free space to run...
Hope the gurus can throw some enlightenment at me on this one. Pretty sure it's a phone set issue, as they are all built in Symposium and acquired. I need her to be able to login and be presented calls. 4.5 with secc 4.2.
Below, I have a group agent on a 3904 who is willing to take some...
SECC 4.2, working with CP 4.04.04 and Opt61 cs1ke.
Reservations agents are telling me that after a guest hangs up, they will hear a pre-recorded message, with just 5 numbers:
01643
03261
03321
03341
03641
03521
Any ideas out there? I am thinking it is some kind of error or warning, but I...
I was wondering if any of you gents have changed PMS systems, from HIS to LMS, a casino system mostly seen in Vegas. I have CS1ke 4.5, with SECC, Callpilot, and Innline 2020. Any feedback on what I might watch out for would be great.
Thanks
matt
I have two guest rooms on the same floor. One can dial an international number (the e1a), and the other cannot (csa).
cls ccsa-csa (won't let me dial int.)
cls ccsa-e1a (will dial international)
That is the only difference between these two sets. I've looked, maybe not in the right places...
