The main incoming line has about 7 lines behind it in a hunting sequence. There is an auto attendant with extension choices, when dialing extension “230”, there is an error readout on the caller id display “DRT – LINE -064 and what sounds like a machine gun noise when the phone is answered...
Two questions that I have to address on a BCM 50:
1st
Is there a way while a call is in a submenu of the Auto Attendant, if they were to press 0 the Operator could have a button mapping on the phone to indicate witch menu they zeroed out from?
Example:
Press 1 for Company #1
Press 2 for...
I was wondering if anyone knows the TCP/UPD ports I would need to forward to a BCM50 for Business Element Manager to work correctly when accessing it from the outside world IP address.

Hi all,
Having a strange issue with a hunt group on a BCM 50. It will hunt through the lines specified, however it will go the general delivery mail box before it hits the Queue Timeout. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since our swap out the Verizion FlexGrow (Channelized T1 w/ voice and data) for the new OneCom PRI, we’ve observations several service issues with CID:
- Caller ID often does not identify the caller, rather it shows all kinds of odd data, like which PRI channel is in use, or “multichannel”, or...
We want to zero out from the auto attendant to a two station hunt group, and have the hunt group time out to a end user station mail box instead of a general voice mail box. Any suggestions?
