Hi Guys,
Quick confirmation required.
I know that to pop goldmine, outlook, act etc you need phone manager pro.
But back in the day you used to be able to dial out from these apps with the standard tapi driver that cam with the system.
Is this still the case?
When connecting 5 sites in an SCN I see you need to connect them in a serial layout.
A----B
|
|----C
|
D----E
Does that mean a call from site E to site B will use the broadband at sites D, and A to make the call?
And how do we prevent this?
Hi there,
Sorry for my complete lack of understanding here, but here is the scenario.
We have a 2000va UPS, and this powers a few critical items in our comms rack- a couple of servers, network switches, telephone system and routers. We get about a 30 minute run time here.
What I would like to...
Hi,
Is it possible to setup a BRI2 card on an XN120 so that we can link the two together and simulate an inbound call on an isdn 2 card, for testing purposes?
Thanks
Customer has just bought some new 54XX handsets, and these now ship with release 5 software.
The 406 they are plugging into is firmware v3.1 and the existing handsets are on release 2.
I need to downgrade the new handsets to release 2. Does this happen in the same way as an upgrade?
Upgrading...
Hi Guys,
Not sure if this is a bug, a feature, or what. Its just a different result to what I expected.
A user (X201)had foward unconditional set to another user on the same IPO (X202). If any other user calls that person with the fwd, then sure enough they fwd to X202.
However if 202 calls...
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of how upto the task the IP office is of integrating with bespoke custom written databases.
I hear about the devlink and IP Office Sotware Development kit, but I am not sure what these do.
I need to know if it is possible, or what questions I...
Hi Guys,
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature. I have a 3.2 system with embedded VM.
I have a group called "night" with no users, just VM turned on.
All other groups have an automatic night service with a night fallback of this "night" group. These groups do not have VM enabled, as they do...
Hi Everyone,
Without wanting to get into a huge discussion about the pros and cons of VoIP, and our expectations of it, does anyone have any thoughts on the following scenario.
Using phone manager pro in IP softphone mode; when I use it to connect to our IPO over either our SDSL or ADSL, the...
Hi,
Is there any way we can get a call to come into a hunt group and ring one user for 6 rings, then overflow to another user that then only rings 3 rings?
It seems that the timers follow the first group, is there any kind of work around anyone knows of?
Cheers
I have a customer that uses call appearance buttons on 54xx handsets.
When they transfer a call to a colleague who is busy on another call, they want the call to go straight to VM. If they are away from their desk, the phone will ring five times then go to VM. This way they can tell if their...
Can I just double check something with you guys. Does the TAPI driver still come on the Admin CD to enable me to dial out from outlook without additional licenses.
Thanks
Hi,
We have installed a few IP Offices in different geographical locations that are linked into a SCN via broadband.
These have not really been successfull as the call quality between sites is just not good enough.
I understand that the quality of the voice is only as good as the adsl that...
HI, I am writing a proposal today. I would love to try and get something in there on presence. Does anyone know if the IP Office offers any kind of presence functionality?
Hi,
This is a really silly "problem" that does not really cause too much hassle, but you know what these things are like, people start moaning when it is a new system.
IPO 500 V4.1(10, all 5410 handsets that connect to a DS30.
People start to dial handsfree, and when they press the first...
