    RMAN HP Cluster Restore

    Hi, has anyone ideas, i must do a restore HP UX veritas Cluster with Oracle RMAN. I have to put the cluster service offline to make the restore, cause when i do it and in my script i run shutdown immediate (database), the cluster bring it at the other side online.?! SOS Thanks... Exits scripts???

    How get the index smaller

    Hi , have a problem, find out with mminfo ssids/cloneid older than 31/11/05, taht are about 12000. then i run nsrmm -d -y -S ssid/cloneid and delete these 12000 savesets. After i run nrsim -X, but the size of the index is the same as before, about 180 GB? Anything doing wrong? Thanks Manfred

    Clone to a different Backup Server

    Hi Folk, from my opinion it is not possibel to clone a group to another Backup Server, cause every BS manage its own Datazone. Thats right? or it is possible to clone? THX
