Greetings everyone,
I have a strange issue today, I have 3 users reporting they can hear a radio broadcast on their headsets when they are not on a call. I went down to take a listen and sure enough it sounds like a oldies station playing really really low. The sets are 3905's with the standard...
Is it possible to add an analog line instead of a digital line thru the Avaya IP Office? I need a few extra fax lines and the company doesn't want to pay the 35 a month for them. Under control units it lists Analogue ATM16 as a type of device, is this the analog mod?
Randomly I have users not able to log into the Agent Desktop. When I check the server these are the errors it gives(see below). Now if they try 4 or 5 times it will eventually allow them to log in.

I have an IPOffice 3.1R and trying to figure out how to change the setting to pick up an outside line from a 9 to an 8. I see the 9 in the list of short codes but when I change it to an 8 it doesn't work. Any suggestions on where I should be looking to change this setting?
Let me start off by saying I'm not a phone tech person so I'm sure this question is a dumb one but..
How do I change the greeting for the auto attendant on the Avaya IP Office R3.1?
I tried the search function but I guess it doesn't work?
My issue is, I found out I am 2 versions behind on my IP Office (currently 3.1) and looking to upgrade to the 4.0. I am NOT a PBX admin at all; basically I am the I.T. jack-of-all-trades. I do have extensive experience with a Nortel Option 51 and 11’s but the Avaya is by far a different animal...
