Trying to add an extension to a norstar system. ALL buttons come up with line 1, the top programmable buttons, the release button and the feature all give me dial tone. Put set on another line works OK. ext 240 and 241 act the same way. Tried copy set to no avail.

A small customer aasked me to program 4 new ext's in his 576 HD. I followed the ext programming guide in sec 400.
ENTER PROGRAM MODE
enter 3 0 10401-04 02 hold 108-111 hold (beep)
But the ext # does NOT appear on the phones.
I have all manuals. I guess I need a step x step walk through.
