What issues can one expect when installing a new RAID 0 SATA array in a system with and existing RAID 0 IDE array. Will the shouthbridge only reecognize one raid or the other?

When building a new box employing IDE RAID 0, does one hook 2nd drive to primary IDE as slave or to secondary IDE as master? Will this change if RAID 1 or 5 is used?
