HD's and optic drive installed properly.
When installing, I get to the partition screen at which point I partition one of the HD's. I go to install win xp on the C partition but get the following message:
"To install win xp on the partition you selected, setup must write some startup files...
Do I want a 2, 4 or 8 Way DRAM Bank interleave in the bios?

In my BIOS setup I do not see a hard drive as on the "Primary IDE Master" as it should be; primary ide master is listed as "ATAPI CDROM" (CD/DVD is attached as slave); main IDE slave in BIOS says "not detected" !! (power works as door opens).

What issues can one expect when installing a new RAID 0 SATA array in a system with and existing RAID 0 IDE array.
Will the shouthbridge only reecognize one raid or the other?
Has anyone had experience with one, the other or both of the issues abore?

When building a new box employing IDE RAID 0, does one hook 2nd drive to primary IDE as slave or to secondary IDE as master? Will this change if RAID 1 or 5 is used?
