    ADMT

    I am playing with the AD Migration Tool. It "sees" the source Domain, but cannot 'contact' it when I try to run the Computer migration wizard. Do I need a DNS entry on the Target Server/Domain to get it to reach the source Domain? What would that record look like? Stub Zone?

    Advice on Port MGMT

    Is there a way to block usage of USB ports? Can on econtrol what is allow and not allowed so users can plug in a USB Keyboard but not a external HD or Memory stick? To what level of granularity can this be controlled?

    Group Policy

    I am pretty sure that programs can be restricted more tightly than just using the app name in the Group Policy. I thought that there was a way of creating a Hash of the Application .exe such that the user cannot circumvent the Policy by changing the name. Has anyone tried this?

    Windows CE Sync

    I have an iPaq that suddenly fails to Sync. I get eventID 59 SidebySide errors. Something about MFC80U.dll . It is a Generate Activation Context Failed for that .dll. Sounds like some sort of licensing error to me, but not sure what it wants activated or validated... Any thoughts.
