is there any settings should be done on the meridian mail system to allow the front office system to activate the message waiting lamp on the guset phone when a written mesage is left at the front desk.

i did install the system and configure it ; the dsm 32+ is working well ...but the problem is in the GATM8 , when i configure it, on the telephony resources its enabled , but when i check the active physical lines it...

i have a customer who has a bcm50 with ip and digital sets and 3 co trunks on the main unit...the problem that when a person uses ip set to make or receive a call ...the person on the other side can not hear well ,but when using digital set there is no problem.

i did configure a call center on bcm 50 rls 2 , the problem is when the agents are busy,, the bcm does not play the expected wait time files ; it goes to the message it plays the file that inform the caller that we can not answer your call at the moment...etc........

1.enabled
2.authentication is local user data base (username and password/presharedkey)
3.i did configure the ip adress pool
and i have nortel vpn client 7.01 when i try to connect...
