Hi All,
I'm reaching out to get input on an alternative to purchasing PRI's. Currently we have quite a few remote sites with 5 people or less. Due to the cost, a PRI or partial PRI is not a viable solution. Does anyone have experience in setting up the CCM with analog or BRI lines? Any issues...
Got an issue with alot of phones showing "No Ethernet". Also the laptops connected also show no link light. The jack and cabling are good. We also checked the switch port, good. When we unplug the phone from the equation, the laptop comes back up with a link light. If this were just one instance...
How can you block fraudulent calls being made into your VM system? Think someone might have called into our BCM/Call Pilot possibly accessed an ext and made some overseas calls. What feature can be turned off that will not allow this? I have asked that no one have vulnerable passwords onsite and...
Hello All,
I am just looking for a simple solution to be able to activate CF to dial from an ext to a cell number after hours. Bare with me please as I am by no means an expert on the BCM so here goes My thoughts......
1) can it be as simple as gathering a feature code like *72 from the LEC...
Obviously the Enterprise Edge is old and outdated but we still have one in operation working fine and wanted to add more VM ports but was told by our vendor that Nortel won’t sell keycodes or licenses anymore for that system. Have you all ran into this before??
Is there a section in Call Manager that shows me the serial numbers for the phones assigned? Note, I do not need the MAC address just the serial number. Thanks for your help.
once we fwd our ip phones to another number (cell, home, etc...) and an incoming call comes thru, the area code defaults to the same thing everytime. The incoming call shows up as 703-123-4567 when in fact the caller is calling from 202-123-4567. any help and suggestions would be greatly...
When using the BCM Monitor, on some of our sites, I cannot see the lines in the BCM but still can see usage data, BCM info, etc...is there an option that I can chenge to be able to see the line data as well?
Let's say you have approx 600 users and you are looking at rolling out a VOIP system. How many PRI's would you need to accomodate 600 users? Does anyone know how many #'s you can put on a PRI without significantly degrading service for your network.
On our Cisco VOIP system we have a few folks that forwards their lines to their cell, home, etc... The problem appears to be that during an incoming call the line gets forwarded however the Caller-ID is showing the main PRI trunk ID and not the calling parties Caller-ID. We have opened up a TAC...
We had a few users on a couple of exts say that they were not getting their messages when the callers left it. Basically, the incoming caller would leave a VM in the AM and our employee would not see it until later in the day or the next day!! Any recommendations I can look at in Call Pilot or...
We may move a site over to another LEC which will require the site to dial 9 or 99 before placing an outgoing call. My question:
1) does it have to be input into the BCM (if so where can I input this info at so the user does not have to dial 9 or 99 to dial out).
2) If no changes are done to...
I maintain numerous BCM's remotely and have one site in particular that CLID gets lost once the call transfers from the AA to an ext. For example, incoming call # 123-45-6789 goes to AA then when answered/transfered to Ext 123 the CLID display shows "Line 110". I am thinking there has to be a...
