Does anyone know if 'standard ip' mode is more efficient than 'ethernet only' mode?
Settings are:
'music on hold' feature = off
system-wide audio codec = medium
system-wide silence suppression = on
and the network still seems burdened. Going to do a packet capture later on today.

On and NBX 100 I have a hunt group that doesn't ring at the devices included in the group. When you call it never goes to voicemail even though I have an extension specified in the 'call coverage'. What am I doing wrong?

I have an enduser that wants to be able to change the auto-attendant from home on an NBX v3000. I'm told it's possible by 3com but the admin manual only covers the web interface. I've tried trying to "check messages" for extension 500 but that doesn't work. Can someone explain how to do it...
On a v3000 system I realized that I wanted a certain phone to have a different extension number. I deleted the phone but when I try to re-add it says the mac address is already in use. How do I deal with that?

Just inherited a NBX-100 and there are complaints about poor network performance with windows shares. NBX is in default Layer-2 mode. I did some sniffing and every port on all the switches is getting flooded with NBX traffic. Doesn't this put a strain on the wokstation Nics having to sort out...
Can't I do extension programing centrally from WinSPM in Standard SPM mode? How do I specify which extension I want to program? It doesn't seem right that I'd have to walk to where the extension is just to set a line to No-Ring.
