Images in the KB - possible?

I can't find the answer to this. Is it possible to add images to knowledge base articles in MS CRM 3.0?

    Can't print PDF.

I'm on Windows XP Pro SP2, using Foxit Reader 2.0. I am trying to print a normal .pdf to a Lexmark C530 printer, but when I do, I get one page with this text on it: ERROR: undefined OFFENDING COMMAND: q STACK: What gives?

    Where are attachments saved?

An email a customer sent in has an .xls attachment, and I want to find the file on the server (so backend, not front-end). Where are they stored?

Going to DTS == "Preparing to install"...?

I'm using MS SQL Server 2000 SP4 on Windows XP SP2. Steps: - Open SQL Enterprise Manager. - Navigate to the Data Transformation Services > Local Packages folder. - Open an existing DTS package. What I get: A bunch of flashing "Preparing to install..." boxes, but only the first time I open the...

Managing my Assigned queue - leaving Outlook.

We have CRM 3.0 integrated with Outlook, and I don't care for it. (Partly I want to keep CRM in MSIE, and partly I'm trying to do testing, and until I can get more memory to keep VMWare running, my computer is it.) Currently, I'm investigating the Assigned queue area, and I have some questions...

    Linking existing activities to cases.

Someone should write up a "Linking things to cases" techdoc for here, but I'm not that person. Sometimes I'll take a call and complete it, only to realise afterwards that it belongs with a case. How would I go about linking a completed activity (completed phone call, sent email) to a case?

    Complete multiple activities.

I'm using GoldMine 6.7 (dBase backend). How would I go about completing multiple past activities at once?

Messed-up date/time appearing in SMDR logs.

(I'm new to this Avaya thing, so there may be important info missing here.) I'm looking through our SMDR logfiles, and for some reason, about 130 out of 430 records have a 'Call Start' value of '1899/12/30 00:00:00'. Direction, internal/external, who was on the phone, and duration do not...

DTS package runs fine, but the job fails.

Details: - I'm on a WinXP Pro SP2 machine. - I'm using MS SQL Server 2000 (8.00.2039 - SP4). - I'm connecting to a MySQL database, which is installed on the same machine as MSSQL. - I have the MySQL database driver installed (v.3.51). - The services Messenger and SQLSERVERAGENT are set to...

Display activity times in Activity/History contact views.

We're using CRM 3.0. When I go to Contact, then to History under Details, it lists the Actual End field. However, it only lists the date, even though ActualEnd is a datetime field. Is there any way to get it to display the date and the time?

    Using sp_send_dbmail on queried addresses.

I'm trying to set up a query, where it returns a list of email addresses, and SQL sends a form letter to each address. I don't know how to do that, though, or whether it's even possible. Help!

    SSIS Packages and Job Failure

I have 8 packages that copy data using a query from MS SQL 2000 on machine 1 to MS SQL 2005 on machine 2. My package creation steps: - Select the MS SQL 2000 server name, use server authentication, and select the db. - Select local, use Windows authentication, and select the db. - I write a...

    Export table/column information.

I am trying to make a sort of database map, listing what fields connect to what other fields, what certain fields even do, things like that. (For info's sake, I'm working with MS CRM, using SQL Server 2005.) I want to export the list of tables (since there are ~350 tables). Ideally, I'd love to...

    SQL query for older contacts.

This is... convoluted. I have a customer database in GoldMine.  I want to get all old customers so that I may deactivate them.  Criteria for "old": - If they do not have any *call* activities in the History tab, then the created date should be 12/31/2002 or earlier.  (We've...

    Sound plays at random.

I'm using Windows 2000 Pro, and every so often and at random, a sound will play on the computer. I know the sound, it's one of the Utopia-theme alert-type sounds. (I can't recall off-hand which one, but it's definitely an alert of some sort.) I knew it for a Windows sound, so I went to the...

Update field with multiple other field values.

I'm using MS SQL Server 2000/2005. I want to add three fields' worth of data into a fourth field. If I were writing this in VB, I'd write something like strNotes = strField1 & strField2 & strField3 & strNotes Is this even possible in SQL?

GM crashes when running a SQL query.

I'm querying our GM DB (dBase, ~180k contact records) to get info from the Contact1 and Contact2 tables. I want to get all prospects who've been entered into the system after a certain date. Here's the query: SELECT Contact1.Contact, Contact2.Udldate FROM Contact1, Contact2 WHERE...

    Mouse wheel doesn't work.

I have a Logitech Pilot Wheel Mouse and a WinXP computer, and for whatever reason, the wheel doesn't do anything. I've tried installing the generic Logitech mouse drivers, but nothing works. What should I do?

All signs lead to hard drive failure...

I tried to run the defragmenter, and received the message: "Disk Defragmenter cannot continue prescan because there is a corruption in file: C:\Program Files\Messenger" After poking about through Google, I ran chkdsk from the command prompt: The type of the file system is FAT32. Volume...
