I have a 3x8 system, with 3 analog lines. When two extensions have picked up the same CO line, and one person tries to dial a DTMF, the tones are not sent to the remote party. Is there anyway to change this behavior?

Anyone know a way to make a hunt group ring as an external call. Currently incoming calls are routed to a hunt group, but even if it's an outside call it still rings the same as an internal call. Even though I've set external calls to ring differently. Very annoying!

My users want a button to adjust ringer volume so I try to program one by doing:
Feat*3 + button + feat*80
But system won't let me type in 80? Whats the deal is there a workaround, users should be able to change volume without knowing feature codes.
We use a hunt group to have many phones ring simultaneously when someone calls. The problem is hunt groups ring as internal calls so we have no distinction in ringing between external and internal calls. Is there an alternative to using a hunt group for this, that might work better?
I have a 3x8 with Flash Voice mail. After 5 rings I want callers to just hear a message then beep. I don't want a menu tree etc.. Anyone know a way to do that. Basically I want to neuter the AA so it just goes to a VM.

I have a 3x8 system. How do I get the external caller ID to show on the screen before I answer the call, now it only shows once I pick up the phone. I tried a bunch of different settings in CONFIG menu nothing helped. thanx
How do I add lines to a line pool on the 3x8? I can't find it in the **config or **admin menus. I can change access codes [yipee] but that's all. The system just says no lines available when I hit a pool. What am I missing?
If I connect a phone directly to one of the CO lines will the Norstar system discover that the line went off-hook "behind it's back" and show it as in-use or will it still allow a user to pickup that line and barge in to the call?

What do I need to configure to get send voicemail to my email to work on the NBX. Can I get it to use a specific SMTP server? It looks like it wants to be its own SMTP server but my ISP blocks 25 (don't they all). thanx
Why do External and Internal calls have the same ring. I set the setting differently and yet it has no affect. I have my lines ringing to a hunt group and when someone calls from the outside it rings the same as if it were an internal call. I think it's a hunt group bug, is there a workaround...
