We have a volume group prodvg on one of our aix 5.3 server, now we need to move this VG to different emc disks (different frame).I was thinking doing this procedure.
1.after getting the new disks, run
extendvg prodvg hdiskX (new)
mirrovg prodvg hdiskX.....
2.syncvg prodvg
3.Break the mirror...
We are planning to move EMC disks that are attached to an AIX server from the existing frame to new one. What are the steps that needs to take care to get this done? any ideas?
This box was configured with two HBA's and are zoned to all the disks for failover purpose.

user01 is already exists on this sever. When I do su user01 then I can login to him. But I need to use su - user01 which I was not able to do so. Any suggetions please.
