I'm using CS3 on a PC. I need to export table styles (columns, headers, rows, etc.) to CSS so that my developer doesn't need to recreate tables everytime I make them in InDesign. If this can't be done in CS3, what about in CS5? I figured out how to get the characeter and paragraph styles to...
I'm using CS3 on a PC.
I've opened a document that I worked on yesterday. My paragraph and character styles palette is completely blank. When I tried to copy styles over from another document that has the same type of styles, I get a message that the styles I'm trying to import are conficting...
I'm working on a logo. I need an oval and then another oval of a different color to be just outside of the 1st oval and then another oval outside of the other one. When I use the transform tool, I don't get the size quite right. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Suggestions?
I'm trying to set up conditional formatting to show buttons (dots) comparing dates.
Let's say I have a target goal date - 10/9/2009. The actual date of the occurence was 10/12/2009 (so we're off by 3 days.) I want to set up conditional formatting so that anything below or at the goal date...
I'm taking a class in Dreamweaver CS3 and I'm building my first site using CSS and tables. (Forgive me if I'm awkward using the terms).
I've added a table with 4 rows, 1 column. I want to go to the last row and make it 100% so that it pushes the other 3 rows to the top. I'm insering images...
The company I work for created Styles for us to use in Word 2003. We've upgraded to 2007 and I can't figure out how to bring those styles into 2007 without having to recreate them. Any ideas?
I'd like to create a rectangle that has only 2 rounded corners -- leave the other 2 corners square. What's the best way to do this in InDesign CS3?
Many Thanks.
Everytime I draw a line using my line tool, the line is a gradient. I can't figure out how to get rid of this. My stroke is set to black and the fill is None. No matter what color I change the stroke to, it becomes a gradient of the color that I selected. Nothing is showing up in the gradient...
I'm using CS3. I'd like to make a linear gradient going from white/paper/0% PMS 4545 (gold color) to about 50% of the PMS color. I can't figure out how to do a tint when I create a gradient.
Any ideas?
Here's the situation:
I've been given a large pdf (71 pages) that was exported from excel. I need to set this pdf up into printer spreads. I was going to import it into InDesign, add page numbers in the center, and do a print booklet and print to file - a pdf.
Is there an easier way?

I've put text in a box with rounded corners. My first line is showing up slightly indented which I don't want. I think it's because the top left rounded edge is pushing it in. I want to move the top line and all subsequent lines down.
In the General tab of Text Frame Options, within Inset...
I'd like to put in a comment (but not really a comment) that pops up whenever someone clicks on a cell. I'd like it to be a definition box - when the user clicks in the cell, a box pops up explaining what goes in the box.
Excel 2003 (PC)
Thanks.
I received a logo that needs a change to it - I need to add the letter "s". The type has been converted to outlines. Is there a way to determine what font was used?

I finally got upgraded to CS3 -- I love the Bullet and Numbering feature -- we use bullets in everything (we over-bullet IMHO). I made several paragraph styles -- 1 for each type of bullet used in the doc. I'm making 2 versions of the same doc -- they're almost idential so I figured it would be...
I found and downloaded a script from the Adobe Exchange site that allows me to run a script to make a pie chart.
These are the instructions:
Place the script in your InDesign scripts directory. Create a template for your InDesign pie graphs in InDesign or just draw a circle and select it. Click...
I've created a certificate border using one of the ornate borders in the brush library. But I don't like the color -- it's a dark green. I want a dark blue. Can I change the color? If so, how?
Thanks.
