I use USB Key and Windows restarts
I had a problem when using a new external hard drive. That was 3 weeks ago. When I turned the HD On, Windows restarted and I had a black screen telling me that Windows\System32\System was missing or corrupted. I had to reinstall. I did this 4 times. Disable VCOM MXtask.exe
I am new to Tek-Tips and I don't know if I am in the right section of the forum. I use VCOM SystemSuite. But their background process MXTASK.EXE appears twice in Task Manager. Icon "Safely remove hardware" in Tray
I have installed the HP Deskjet 5940 . What's the use of this icon (small green arrow)in the Tray that says "Safely remove hardware". I have not installed any software for this printer. Only updated the driver. I don't see the necessity of this icon, only in the eventuality that I would remove...- benic
