    Secondary HD recognized once, but not now

    I am running xp home on a dell P4. My primary drive was filling up so I bought a 80G Westen digital as a storage drive. It showed up on device manager and I put a volume on it and transferred data, so far so good. Now my primary drive (I think) is starting to make a slightly different noise...
