    Cannot format tapes-Cannot run basic backup jobs

    I have inherited a server installed with acrserve ver 11.1 .this server has since crashed and I am rebuilding this.the tape drive is a quantum superloader I cannot format or erase tapes backup jobs fail tape drive say " updating " nerver stops when i go to format a tape the dialog box is empty...

    I set up a trunk between 2 3560 switches, I can see them as neighbors but cannot ping them the config is switchport trunk encap dot1 switchport mode trunk this is on both switches what am I doing wrong jack
