    Hide marks from students in Excel

    I'm keeping a tracking sheet of work my students have done in Excel, and want to be able to show them what they have handed in without showing them everybodys marks! Currently I'm doing a find/replace to replace each mark with an 'x' before saving as a new file and then showing them the sheet...

    Simple Scripting Problem

    Writing a little command prompt script to 'politely' close a bunch of programs, using the excellent 'process' command ( http://www.beyondlogic.org/solutions/processutil/processutil.htm ) Trouble is one program pops up an 'are you sure' dialog.     Restore windows backup

    System HD went wierd and wouldn't boot the other day, managed to copy it's contents to another drive (just into a folder) using Mini WinPE. Want to restore to a new drive now, do I have to do anything other than copy the contents back over? FixMBR needed or anything like that to get it...

    Dead system drive?

    Recently had my syste, stop booting, it's a western digital 250GB so I tried running the WD diagnostic CD, but it can't even SEE the drive!! It IS spotted fine by the BIOS, although everything seems to run very slow (POST etc) when the WD drive is connected. Any ideas on where to go from...
