    Booting to an external disk

    I was booting to an external disk, in order to run Norton speed disk on my internal main drive. Nortons would not open on my external drive so I did a new clean install of norton on that external drive, now I can no longer boot to the external drive. Any ideas as to why that would be?

    I can see external Firewire Hard drive but it won't mount

    When I use the Drive Utility in Mac OSX 10.3.9 I can see external Firewire Hard drive but it won't mount.
