Is there a way to prevent unwanted users that have direct access to a Cisco router (or switch) from establishing a console session, say from a laptop, and doing a password recovery? Ponder this whilst I taketh my beauty nap. Thankseth

Power goes out in my neighborhood in any and all rainstorms. I have a Cisco router that usually goes into rommon and my computer I don't want getting messed up. I have a pretty good surge protector, but I need a UPS. 350watt psu on the computer, and a few other things in need of protection...
I have a 300gig Maxtor that I accidentally plugged in backwards---the 4 pin Molex connector did not fit, of course, but the pins were not secure in the connector, which allowed the 12vdc to touch the 5vdc. The logic board is fried. I took the control board off of another Maxtor SATA, 100gig, and...

Not really high---632, which computes to about 83%. I didn't really study all that much. I'm a CCNA, and I thought that Net+ would be a breeze. Wrongo! I actually do not (nor have I ever) work in the IT field at all. I fix copiers, looking to get in IT. Is it appropriate for me to post what sort...
I have practice questions that do not have the CompTIA scale---only percentage of correct answers. I understand it is on a scale of 100-900, and 550 is passing. On this scale, does that mean 500=50%, so 550=55%? Or is 450=50%, so 550=61% ? In other words, is it equivalent to an 800 total point...
