My first time at trying to use one of the Custom Functions, can someone tell what is wrong with the use of the function below, I've tried several versions of the code below. Use of alternate date ranges on records selections
Has anyone tried to select records based on a default date- range, unless an optional date-range exists on the same DATES table? CR9, Oracle 10g. Any hints will be greatly appreciated.- HardlyWork

Using a formula (date) to select rows
When I use the CR9 Function "in lastfullmonth" to select my rows of data, I get a 13 page report in about 2 minutes (6+ million row search), when I change the Function to a Furmula which also points to last-month (I have verified this), the search turns into a table scan that runs for hours.
