I'm noticing something that is a bit annoying. When I write a document in Word, convert it to PDF, and then open it in Illustrator, text that initially was 10pt is now suddenly 10.02pt. Now I'm not saying that anyone can notice it, but I still wonder why this happens, and if it can be fixed?

When I open an eps file (made in another application) in Illustrator I get a message telling me that fonts were missing and had to be replaced. Obviously this is not correct cause I can easily change the font manually into the intended font once I'm past that message. So how do I solve this...
