    Saving Illustrator to PDF

    When I have created art with several layers and save to PDF, I always get rectangles around items that have been placed. I have tried flattening before I save. I have printed to PS and then distilled to PDF, but I always get these rectangles. Advice would be welcome. Thanks

    Illustrator CS2 does not open first time

    After booting my PC, when I o to start Illustrator CS2, I get a message that it can't complete the opeartion. After this happens the program starts OK when I click the icon. Any idea why this happens. Always on the first time - After that it starts without a hitch. Any help would be appreciated.
