    Ctl service hung on starting

    Aloha 5.3. Alohamgr opens but no login screen pops up. When I look in the event viewer it shows ctl service hung on starting. What could cause this?

    CAN'T RECOVER FILESERVER

    I have 2 terminals in redundant mode and they will not recover.     Error while grinding AlohaQs trans.log

    insert entries: e is null is the error I am getting when grinding a trans.log in QS 5.2.8. Tried to run a fixlog and copied dbf files from the day before. I have seen this before but can't remember the fix to this very old problem. Anyone remember?? Thanks

    IBM using Windows 98 And Aloha 6.1

    As soon as the Aloha services start an error pops up:Cryptographic Service Provider is not installed or disabled. Put the terminal back into a 5.3 Aloha and terminal works just fine. Site has other 98 terminals that work fine with the 6.1. Any ideas what could cause these in the new terminals?
