bios woun.t keep cd rom as frist boot option
I am trying to set the bios so the cd rome is frist boot option.I hit f2 the bios comes up i move arrow to boot dev. hit enter. says to select boot dev.with arrow up or down key,i have 3options,1st ,removable dev . 2hard drive dev.3atapi cdrom dev. says to press enter ,use arrow to select cd...- xbilll

need to clone 2ed hard drive over
thread751-1241284 wolluf I whant to re clone 2ed hard drive as it is acting up and running slow,.Will i have to go though the same thing as i did in the thread above.will i have to edit the boot.ini I will be using Norton ghost. Thanks for your help...- xbilll

cloned xp to 2nd harddrivewould like to keep oneclean?
Have win.xp home.pent 4,1.6.40g HD, 512 ram.a2nd-HD, 100GIG.Idid clean install of xp then useing norton ghost cloned it over to 2nd HD.Also have partition comander to give doul boot,iwould like to save c:drive as a back up.useing my d: 100 g.for every day use. the problem i have is when i down...- xbilll
