    Power off Mermail Module without throwing a column light?

    I would like to power off the mermail module but don't want to throw a column light. We put in a server based mail. Mermail is the bottom module in a column so it will just sit there until I can convert it to an IPE module. Is there a way to turn the module OFF without throwing the column light?

    Ground start or Loop Start

    So I hear that you should always bring Ground start trunks into the PBX rather than Loop start as Loop start will have disconnect supervision problems. Anyone else heard this and have any insight. I have never had issues with Loop start trunks on any Nortel PBX I have worked on. Maybe I'm lucky.
