    HDD confusion

    i have installed a 80gig hdd onto the same ide cable as the cd rom drive and arranged the pin to slave.it is a western digital and the model is WDC WD800BB-OOJHC0. it comes up in the other hard drives properties,but there is no icon present in "my computer." PLEASE HELP!! :)
