SATA drive went bad - can it be slaved?
I have a Dell Dimension E510 with a 160 Gbyte Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA drive which apparently went bad. Was up and running and on this site when suddenly got a blue screen saying a problem had been detected and windows has shut down. This is what came up on the blue screen...- LizzyK

inaccessible hard drive
I have a western digital4000-BB that has Windows 2000 on it. Upon trying to start up this morning the Windows 2000 screen shows briefly and than kicks to a blue screen that states that there is an inaccessible hard drive. Windows ME will not continue past the Windows logo screen
I may have multiple problems here, and am not sure which is the culprit. To make matters worse it is my bosses computer! Her computer was having issues with Nortan AntiVirus Definitions not downloading. I was directed by the Norton site to uninstall the LiveUpdate files, and then reinstall them...- LizzyK
