    cannot get a 2nd pc to see the ISC

    I cannot get a 2nd pc on my home network to see the internet connection. I have tried everything(ie. residential gateway and both connected directly to my 5-port hub). Could my ethernet card be bad??... is there a way to test it before I buy a new network card??.. TIA folks.
