I'm trying to shrink a partition, that I made when I installed windows. But when I try it says "This partition crosses the 1024 cylinder boundary and may not be bootable" - however it IS bootable right now, and its 80! I have to go below 8gb before it doesn't say that.
So what is this all...
I think its called VPN, if I want a shared folder on the network to be access from anywhere.
I'm completely new to it, but it sounds so smart. How do I set it up? What programs do I need? Is it build into XP, so that I dont need any other programs? is there anything else I shold know?

I want to connect 2 monitors to my computer, for some office work. Right now I only have an onboard/built-in VGA port in my computer, so I wanted to buy an AGP card.
However the computer seller says that if I buy one of those it will disable the onboard "card", and I will end up with just 1...
My ISP just changed the FTP server so that I cant use "passive mode" (dont really know what it is).
I can turn off the passive mode in a client like SmartFTP, but how do I do it in the built-in windows FTP client??

I have a little problem with "compressed zipped folders" that I can only solve manually - my computer froze while it was unzipping a file - and now I wanna find that tempfile so that I can remove it (it has eaten like 1 gb of my system partition)

Whenever I go Start|Search, then 'explorer' crashes. Either it crashes, and let me see the desktop reboot, or I have to end the explorer process...

I have made a script and when I do a 'ls -l' then I get this:

The folder I'm trying to save the file in, will only save the file if the folder is set to 777/drwxrwxrwx
So the folder looks like this:

I have tried to install the MD5 module using PPM, and when I make "query *" the MD5 is there.
I have also tried to download it and install it this way:

- the "make" stuff doesn't work though...
