    Colour picking troubles!

    I went to pick my foreground colour and my optical mouse (Not the isue) jumped. Now the colour picked is out of view. I have tried to reset my prefences and re-install PS but no use. Please if anyone can help, i'd love it! I am used Photoshop 7.0 on Windows XP.
