Can't switch off outgoing mail scan in NIS
Solved it!! It's to do with upgrading from ME to XP (or mine is anyhow). Apparently if NIS or NSW was installed previous to XP upgrade, the registry may not have been cleared properly when you upgraded. The solution is to down load the RNAV2003 utility from Symantec. Uninstall NIS and NSW...- arooney

I have NIS installed under NSW - in otherwords the complete Norton PC package. Despite following the instructions on the Symantec "knowledgebase" and unchecking the 'scan outgoing email (recommended)' box, even unchecking the 'display progress indicator' box, NIS still persists in...- arooney

Directions for Publishing to server
Okay, so you've solved it. But along I come a few weeks later with exactly the same problem and I'm none the wiser! I publish from FP 2000.
