Word: Macro don't works with ".dot" documents?
You may want to try assigning the macro an AutoExec, AutoOpen name in the .DOT file you reference. When do you want this macro to start? All the time? Then assign it to the Normal.dot template. Geeky Grandma- GeekyGrandma

MS Word Bold/Flash upon startup
Greetings, I have a client who has dates in a column of a MS Word table. When he opens up the document, he would like to have any dates that are equal to today or xx amount of days before todays date to be formatted to BOLD and BLINKING BACKRGROUND.
