    Different PMS to CMYK conversation

    Hi! We discovered that some PMS colors, when converting them to CMYK obtain diff. values in Q4 and Q5. For instance, PMS 3435 in Q4 has 60%black and in Q5 has 66%black. This is a big difference. Who knows, why it is happaned? Thanks

    print two A5 pages as an A4

    Hi! Just mark CheckBox "SPREAD" in Print Menu. Choose then print pages: 1-2, and 3-4. In paper setup choose A4, landscape. If you still have problem, make PDF of spread and print then from Acrobat/Reader to your Epson. Regards

    Collect for output?

    Hi! The best is to use special utility like FlightCheck or FC collect for this job. You can always do an error during font collecting, more fonts - more error. Regards Sergej

    Clipping Path appears untidy

    The safest and the only right way is to create path in PhotoShop and define it as clipping path. Then save as EPS. From v.4 Quark can recognize clipping path in TIFF as well. But I prefer EPS, despite that it has not so good preveiw as TIFF. In this case, save as EPS with JPEG preview. Regards...
