    Importing dbf into Access

    i tried the exact same steps and i choose the dbf files then click ok...then it shows me another screen that prompts me to pick the tables...and the list is blank...what do i do here??

    this is still not working...it will create a source to the actual dbc file not the dbf file...is there a way to import the dbf files straight from the directory??

    what do they mean by Use a Machine DSN (that is a User or System DSN) instead of a File DSN... i think i did it like they are saying..but its still not showing up..this thing is driving me crazy!!

    i get a reserved error -7778...trying to import fox pro tables into access 2000...i also get a message stating external table not in expected format... any ideas??

    I've been having problems creating

    I've been having problems creating a fox pro ODBC driver.. i'm using Access 2000 and I need to import certain dbf files so I can manipulate the data and create a report...however each time i create a data source it either gives me a reserved error -7778 message or it just shows up with a blank...

    Yeah but..... When you export Microsoft Access table or select query data to a spreadsheet, the field names are inserted into the first row of the spreadsheet no matter what you enter for this argument. and this is what i am trying to avoid....

    I'm using the transfer spreadsheet function to create a file in excel, but i do not want the headings to show up in the excel file just the data..any ideas?
