Is there a queryspec comparator for "Not Equal" that works on "Group" or "Pool" names so I can filter out that yucky UNIX garbage...

I don't follow exactly what your saying about the key field. However, I changed the WHERE statement per your example and added the Requery sub and the form now works just as I wanted it to.

Sorry, should have also stated that I am working with long date formats, including time. eg. Wednesday August 28, 2002 6:14pm. DateDiff doesn't seem to work when the time is included.
