I am using ADO to access FPW2.6 DBFs (30,000 records) it is taking up to 5 minutes to 'open' them. Is this this 'normal', if not any suggestions how to make it quicker???

Hi I'm new to VB and am trying read Foxpro 2.6 tables and write to another table.<br><br>Using ADO I can read the table no probs but cannot get it write to foxpro table. I'm a Foxpro programmer by trade, so excuse my ignorance. Sorry for the hassle.<br><br>Cheers G
