    Accessing foxpro 2.6 tables thru VB6

    I am using ADO to access FPW2.6 DBFs (30,000 records) it is taking up to 5 minutes to 'open' them. Is this this 'normal', if not any suggestions how to make it quicker??? Cheers

    VB6 and FoxPro

    Hi I'm new to VB and am trying read Foxpro 2.6 tables and write to another table.<br><br>Using ADO I can read the table no probs but cannot get it write to foxpro table. I'm a Foxpro programmer by trade, so excuse my ignorance. Sorry for the hassle.<br><br>Cheers G

    Foxpro 2.6 tables reading and writing to using ADO

    Trying to read foxpro 2.6 table using ADO - no probs.<br>How do I write records of this table + extra values into another foxpro table with an ADO control (adodc2). <br><br>Have tried using adodc2.recordset.AddNew<br>adodc2.recordset.Update<br><br>No Joy :-( Please help.
