Phantom CD-ROM drive appears
I examined all the hardware carefully. I think that one of the RAM modules was not in fully, now it is and no more random rebooting. Also, I installed Spyware Doctor and it found 428 pieces of spyware. But what suprised me as well was that the computer was using nearly 100% CPU power and 1.72 GB...- Avoura

Computer Doesn't Turn On
I would suggest running the PC with the case side off. When it is on, observe the fans and see if they are working. Shine a torch into the PC if necessary. Sometimes the fans on the CPU fail. Or it could be that there is too much dust on the fan/heatsink on the CPU which needs to be cleaned off...- Avoura
