RE: "what columns would you like to see in the result set?"
I intend to use a stored procedure, and perhaps I would insert the results into a new table. Ideally the resultant report would state:
(pseudocode)
"SupportGroup: " + SupportGroupNameMatch + " has the same users as SupportGroup: +...
Scenario: I have 3 tables for this data exception report that I care about -
Table Fields
User UserID, UserName ...
UserSupportGroup UserSupportGroupID, UserID, SupportGroupID ...
SupportGroup SupportGroupID, SupportGroupName ...
<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="10; URL=Page.htm">
This would load Page.htm every ten seconds, if you want to refresh you current page then type the file name in place of Page.htm
Hmmm I had already tried that... it doesn't do anything to the date format. I saw that work around on the MS KB but it does nothing for me.
In DOS if I do a "net time \\server " it displays the date in us format....
If I do a "date" command it display in UK Format!!!!
This...
Got a wierd problem here...
In ASP I am using the <%=Date()%> and on my w2k Server it returns m/d/yyyy.
Easy I think - I need to edit the regional settings on the Server to show UK Date format and dd/mm/yyyy.
I get there and the properties are set already, so I run a date prompt in a vbs file...
Not really what is was saying!!!
I need the command line switch for an IIS Server so that it returns the value of the HOSTNAME abd doesn't just repeat the IP Address.
Thanks for your efforts though!
I have seen a tip on the MS KB regarding a command line you can type to get the IIS Server to pick up the HOSTNAME of a PC instead of an IP Address!!!
Thing is I can't find it anymore and I need it for some current dev work.
Any updates, links to or other would be appreciated.
Cheers
Nick
