What version do u use ?
If u use SQL Server 2000, you can easily do this kinda problem....
Coz, SQL Server 2000 has added new feature for easy to use, named = Attach Database.
To find this new feature, kindly do a right-click on your mouse at Database and you can find a dropdown menu named =...
why don't u try to use VIEW tables in SQL Server ???
In your Database Treeview, you will see some child nodes from the Database, they are, Diagram, Tables, Views, Store Procedures, ....etc...
Choose View, nd create your own view.
If u have 3 queries, you can do this....
Create ViewA and ViewB...

I've experienced this too...
I don't know the exact solutions.... I'm trying to search for the solutions also...
But, for a moment, you can try to install SQL Tools named = Connectivity tools.
Try to install it from your SQL Server 2000 CD.
It works for me...
