    You could write them as a .dot or .xla and protect and lock it down so that it cant be changed,put into a share and only give read permissions.

    Locked Acc link file on an admin point

    I have built a full office 2000 admin point on a server and when I install from it to a desktop sometimes it give a problem with picking up the acc link file and says it is locked how can this be on a full share to the file and how can I get round it
