    thanks for your response. I can not do that at the moment as I am still running the old nt4 box. But here is some more info. -We are running ISA Server on the proxy. -when i telnet both the internal and external network cards on the proxy a notes listener responds (Should this be the case?)...

    The domino server version 6.5.1 was on nt4 and we installed it on windows 2000 server. Copied over data folder and notes.ini file. We used the same ip and computer name. The problem is there is no incoming or outgoing mail. When I ran the command "start port 25" it comes up with error "error...

    Thanks for the response but we figured it out. It was a problem with the notes debugger. We reinstalled it and it seems to be working fine for the moment.

    When the database files are compacted the domino server application just dies. When run again it does the same thing but at a different database. Does any one know what is causing it to do this. I am running version 6.5 on windows nt. Thanks in advance.
