    Mmmm tried that Marcia but it did'nt make any difference. I also notice that when I repopulate the grid for some reason the checkbox that I added to the column at design time, no longer exists! If I inspect the column in the debugger sure enough the checkbox has disappeared, Ugh! don't like that!

    Geoff, No I don't have any source code yet I'm just testing a theory, basically the bmp sits in the exe, all I'm trying to accomplish is to copy the bmp from the exe onto disk, via foxcode, in this particular instance the foxcode would be a prg. Thanks for your interest.

    Rob, Thanks for your interest the Adobe control I am using is ACROPDF.PDF.1 and as far as I can see from its exposed properties and methods can't see any search or find options to tap into.
