www.sco.com/ta - go to the bottom of the page. THis gives you access to the SCO/Caldera TA serach engine which is very usefull as the first stop in sorting a fault. Alternatively SCO did do some online PDF training material a while ago that contained admin guides . Maybe trawling their website...- rdent

Looping code can cause this to happen. If it gobbles up system resources. Check you have not recently installed any new SW or one of your users hasn't created anything if they are likely to do so......- rdent

Openserver 5.06 Adaptec 3201 & 29160 slow DAT drive
I have an Openserver Mdiacl systems server that is built around and INTEL XEON 1GHZ Server. It Contains a 40GB Ultra 160 Raid 1 HD Array driven by an adaptec 3201 64bit controller. My problem is that i have an HP 40GB DLT in the server that is taking over 14hours to backup approx 10GB of data...- rdent
