I decided it wasn't worth the effort to re-do the data controls so i took another path....
I made an autoexec macro in access and then just added a
I let access run the queries and use a quit as the last command in the macro...
call shell (blah, vbMinimizedNoFocus) to the vb.exe
it was easier...

Try this and see if it fixes your null problem:
when using the nz you need it to tell nz to default to 0 if it = a null value
Nz([BlahBlah], 0)
maybe something like :
SELECT...
I'm converting a query i was using in msaccess97 to use in a stand alone vb.exe
Using vb6.
Access uses (3) foxpro2.0 linked tables and runs a make table query... works fine in access, but when i try to use it in my app i keep getting the good old error 3170 No Installable ISAM.
Tried updataing...
Try replacing the "as" with "="
Set dbs as CurrentDB
Set msrt as dbs.openrecordset ("TestDB", dbOpenDynaset)
change to:
Set dbs = CurrentDB
Set msrt = dbs.openrecordset ("TestDB", dbOpenDynaset)
